Do solar panels require much upkeep?

 Home solar PV systems are an easy upgrade to your house that can also add significant value. They do not typically require planning permission unless you have a flat roof, your property is a listed structure, or you are in a conservation area. 

Once installed, there is very little maintenance necessary - aside from routine checks to ensure the system is functioning correctly. And you should not need to replace your panels or inverter for 25-30 years.
